Shafrin graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) with her MFA in 2024 and has since taught illustration, painting, an animation at MCAD. She has produced work that has been exhibited and screened both locally in Minnesota and internationally, including at the Parkway Theater, Gallery 148, Homewood Studios, Jatra, ARKA Gallery, Moar and so on.
